The YMCA of Canberra has been working in the Canberra community for more than 60 years providing programs and services for people of all ages.   

We are a community based not-for-profit organisation governed by a volunteer board of directors.  We are a member association of the National YMCA of Australia and work closely with other YMCAs around the country to provide a voice and lead change through representation and advice to government.

Our programs are funded through payment of fees for service, application of grant funding through various government and private bodies and through a dedicated network of volunteers who work to raise funds that are utilised to support community programs and social inclusion.

We work collaboratively with government and other non profit groups and partners to provide a broad range of programs and services to the Canberra Community.

 In all that we do we strive to build strong people, strong families and strong communities.
