The YMCA Auxiliary is operated by a dedicated team of volunteers.  Through the sale of “pre-loved” goods at “Y’s Buys” Op Shops and Garage Sales this team of volunteers works to raise funds to support community access and inclusion to YMCA services through the Open Doors program.

The YMCA of Canberra values all people and and is committed to social inclusion. the YMCA Auxiliary is the fundraising arm of the YMCA whose work supports the YMCA Open Doors program.  This program aims to ensure that no-one is denied access to our programs and services particularly due to an inablity to pay.  

Ways you can help

• Pop into one of our Op shops and do some shopping
• Donate quality "pre-loved" clothing by taking items directly to one of our Op shops
• Volunteer some of your time and join our YMCA Auxiliary team.
